1. Operator

2. Information we collect
- Account information: the email address and user identifier that come with signing in via Google or Apple (stored in Supabase, our authentication provider)
- Learning data: the phrases you add and your practice history and self-ratings (kept on your device as a rule)
- Audio data: when you run a pronunciation check, your recording is sent to Microsoft Azure Speech Services for scoring. We do not store or reuse the audio after the result is returned
- Generation requests: the phrases you add are sent through Cloudflare Workers to Microsoft Azure (speech synthesis) and Google Gemini (explanation generation)
- Purchase information: your subscription status (processed by Google Play, the App Store, and RevenueCat). We never receive your credit card details
- Diagnostics and usage data: crash and exception reports together with in-app timing data (processed by Sentry), and which screens and features you use
(processed by PostHog). Neither includes the text of the phrases you save nor the audio you record.
3. How we use it
- To provide the app's features (native audio, AI explanations, pronunciation checks, review scheduling)
- To manage subscriptions and verify billing status
- To prevent abuse (managing usage limits)
- To find and fix defects, and to analyse usage so we can improve the app
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or provide personal information to third parties, other than entrusting processing to the providers named above (Supabase, Cloudflare, Microsoft Azure, Google, RevenueCat, Sentry, PostHog).
5. Data retention and deletion
You can request deletion of your account and related data by following the steps in Account deletion. We delete your authentication information and the related data under our control within 30 days of the request.
