Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms set out the conditions for using SpeakGain (the "Service"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

2. Accounts

Using the Service requires signing in with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for managing your account.

3. Fees and subscriptions

The Service is offered as a Google Play or App Store (Apple ID) subscription, with a two-week free trial for new users. Cancel anytime from the Google Play subscriptions screen or the App Store subscriptions screen. We do not provide prorated refunds for cancellation mid-period. Store-displayed prices take precedence.

4. Prohibited conduct

Reverse engineering or otherwise analyzing the Service, and unauthorized access
Submitting input to the generation features that is offensive to public order and morals, or that infringes the rights of others
Interfering with the operation of the Service

5. Disclaimer

Pronunciation checks and AI explanations are automated processing intended to support learning, and their accuracy is not guaranteed. The Service is provided as is, and we are not responsible for temporary unavailability caused by network conditions or similar factors. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the total fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.

6. Changes to these terms

These terms may be changed as needed. We will announce material changes in the app or on this site.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes relating to the Service.
